In my last blog I talked about the different kind of chelates that are on the market and what the best chelate is in combination with iron. In this blog I'm going to the tell you the story behind manganese (Mn) and I shall explain why it can be use full to use manganese chelate. But first I shall react on a question I received about the preparation of the iron chelate.

In my first blog I talked about pH control. pH control is very important for the uptake off nutrients by the plant. Especially the Iron (Fe) and Manganese (Mn) uptake can be very problematic when the pH is too high.

With the free available Haifast software (http://www.haifa-group.com/knowledge_center/expert_sofwares/haifast.aspx) it’s very easy to make a good calculation for the fertilizer composition.
