Supplying the winter oil seed rape with the right amount of nutrients

Haifa's fertilization recommendation for winter oilseed rape, including the recommended fertilizers

Growing method: open field.
Plant density: 350,000-700,000 / Ha.
Expected yield: 3.5 Ton / Ha.

Nutrition recommendation

Top dressing:

I. First treatment should be applied at fall and early winter, from sowing to 8 leaves.

II. Second treatment: Should be applied at winter, on onset of regrowth.

Multi-K = Potassium nitrate
MAP = Monoammonium phosphate
Magnisal = Magnesium nitrate

III. Third treatment: Should be applied 2-3 weeks later.

*AS = Ammonium sulfate. This specific fertilizer is important in order to supply the need in SO3.

Manganese need (see above) should be best supplied as a foliar spray. Can be part of Maneb treatments against leaf diseases.
Sulphur applied in early spring as a compound fertilizer containing sulphate will generally give immediate response when lacking.
