Fertilization of cabbage and cauliflower in open field

A thorough fertilization program in open field growing conditions, using Haifa's fertilizers

Growing medium: Open field.
Soil type: Light soil.
Plant population: 30,000-40,000 Plants/Ha.
Expected yield: 20-30 T/Ha.

Recommended average rates of nutrients for open field Cabbage and Cauliflower (Kg/Ha):

N

P2O5

K2O

120-160

50-100

180-200

Phosphate - The demand for P is greater during the head formation.
Potassium - K deficiency can result in marginal necrosis and lower head quality.
Magnesium - In case of Mg deficiency it is recommended to supply 50-70 Kg/Ha Magnisal.
