Poly-Feed foliar improves cotton yield

In rainy areas, heavy rains during the agricultural season cause leaching of nutrients, which lead to nutritional deficiencies and yield loss.

A trial was set in the north of Ivory Coast during the 2021-22 season, to evaluate the agronomic and economic benefits of Poly-Feed™ Foliar in cotton compared to the common practice.

Conclusion:

• Foliar application of nutrients boosts plant growth and increases yield.
• Foliar nutrition increased the plant’s NUE: 100 Kg NPK fertilizer gave higher yield than the 200 Kg NPK fertilizer in the common practice program.
• From an economic point of view, the Haifa foliar fertilizer program (3 applications) + (NPK 100 kg/ha + Urea 50kg/ha) gave the best result by increasing the net income by 12%.
