Revival & Growth: Haifa at the Arava Open Day Exhibition

Date

The Arava Open Day Exhibition is one of Israel’s leading agricultural events, attracting growers, agri-business professionals, and the general public from across the country. Held annually at the Yair Research Station near Hatzeva, the exhibition combines commercial displays, professional R&D presentations, and a vibrant community fair that draws visitors from the entire region and beyond.

This year’s exhibition took place at the end of January and marked its 32nd edition. After a two-year hiatus due to the war, the event returned with a strong sense of renewal and growth. The exhibition highlighted agricultural innovation, exposure to ongoing R&D activities, and the dynamic interaction between research, industry, and the farming community.

Haifa Group hosted an impressive and welcoming booth, serving as a focal point for professional discussions with growers from the Arava region and throughout Israel. The event provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen relationships in the field, present Haifa’s activities and innovations, and engage in direct, meaningful dialogue with farmers. This close interaction enables Haifa to tailor precise plant nutrition solutions to growers’ specific needs—maximizing efficiency, crop quality, and profitability.

The Croptune™ team presented the innovative technology for real-time monitoring of nitrogen status in the field – a powerful tool that helps optimize nitrogen application and improve fertilizer use efficiency.

On the second day of the exhibition, Haifa Group was honored to visit Bein Hashitin Farm, an agricultural-educational farm that Haifa proudly supports. The farm leads a variety of educational and community projects aimed at connecting the public with agriculture, sustainability, and hands-on field activity.

Haifa’s participation in the Arava Open Day Exhibition once again reflects the company’s strong commitment to Israeli agriculture, its close partnership with growers, and its dedication to developing practical, field-oriented solutions based on professional knowledge, innovation, and real presence on the ground.
