HortiTec, Brazil’s largest horticulture trade fair and one of the leading events of its kind in Latin America, took place from June 17 to 19 in Holambra, São Paulo. The event brought together more than 32,000 professional visitors and 520 exhibitors from across the horticultural production chain – with Haifa South America among them.
This year’s discussions reflected the key forces shaping horticulture in Brazil and beyond: rising demand for fresh, healthy, and convenient foods; the growing value of horticultural crops in the Brazilian diet; the need for higher productivity and efficiency; and the increasing importance of sustainability and resource optimization.
These themes are closely aligned with Haifa’s expertise in comprehensive plant nutrition solutions that support efficient, productive, and sustainable crop production.
At the Haifa booth, the South America team focused on two key solution areas: Multicote™ controlled-release fertilizer technology and the HaifaStim™ biostimulant line. Multicote™ reflects Haifa’s commitment to Impact, helping growers improve fertilizer efficiency, reduce nutrient losses, and support consistent crop performance. The innovative HaifaStim™ range offers complementary tools that support plant resilience, root activity, nutrient uptake, and crop development under challenging growing conditions.
The event provided an excellent platform for close dialogue with customers, growers, distributors, and prospects. The booth welcomed an average of 50 visitors per day, creating valuable opportunities to listen to market needs, share technical knowledge, and strengthen long-term relationships. Haifa South America was pleased to welcome Isi Kella, the Group’s Commercial Manager, and Juan José Valdés Torres, Managing Director of Haifa Mexico, together with the commercial and technical teams.
Haifa’s participation in HortiTec reinforced its role as a trusted partner for advanced horticulture, bringing practical, field-oriented solutions to growers seeking productivity, efficiency, sustainability, and quality.
