  • Brine additive for fish and fish fillets, shrimps and scallop processing.
  • High drip loss, flavor and solubility in ice cold brines.
  • Reduce color, taste and appearance.
  • Prevents nutritional loss during shelf life.
  • Prevents microbial growth.

  • EEC classification: E 451, E 452.
  • Appearance: White granular powder.

Screen analysis:

  • On 18 US mesh (> 1.0 mm) 0.5 % max
  • Trough 200 US mesh (<0.075 mm) 10% max


  • Shelf life: 24 months in original package, under dry and cool storage conditions.
  • Maximum stack height: 2 pallets. 

Recommended dosage

  • An optimum will be reached with 1.0 to 8.0% (100-800g/10L)  F 252, in brine.
