FIMA - International Agricultural Machinery Fair

From 13 to 17 February, Haifa Iberia participated as an exhibitor at FIMA (International Agricultural Machinery Fair), one of the most visited agricultural fairs by farmers from a large part of Spain. The event, which took place at the Zaragoza Trade Fair, had more than 100,000 m2 of exhibition space and 1,250 exhibiting companies.

There was a large attendance of professional visitors, especially farmers, who took advantage of the fair to see the latest machinery. We were able to see how more and more companies from the auxiliary sector, including fertilizers and nutritionals, are taking advantage of this excellent opportunity to be present.

The plant nutrition products and solutions that we highlighted on this occasion were, in addition to the new HaifaStim range (and the recent additions for Iberia such as Promo, Calmaster or Rally), the Poly-Feed range and the CoteN Mix solutions, especially for extensive crops, very present in the area.

In addition, on Friday 16, there was a technical talk given by our colleague and technical delegate in the northern area, José Luis Caudevilla, who spoke to us about nutrition in direct and combined sowing in cereals. It was a complete training class where some of the most important cereal growers in the area were able to learn some very interesting data and new strategies to be more efficient and comply with the new environmental policies. It took place at 12:00h in Hall 1 of the Congress Centre located at the fairgrounds. Afterwards, the attendees were invited to a paella at our stand. The event was a considerable success, as was the whole fair, as numerous contacts were made from all over Spain and a full information service was provided to producers, technicians and farmers who were interested in the brand.
