Multicote Agri reduced N rate and applications

19% reduction in the total applied nitrogen resulted in no yield reduction

Application method	Top Dressing Banding at 10 cm under, and 20 cm to the side of the future line of plants
Tested treatment	Multicote Agri: 134 kg/ha of N as Multicote Agri (80% of commercial N application) @ age of 4 leaves Control: 60 kg/ha of N as TD of urea @ age of 4 leaves + 205 kg/ha of N as urea by TD @ age of 8 leaves
treatment results Grain yield - (MT /ha)	Control – 14.3 Multicote Agri – 14.7
Conclusions	A 19% reduction in N, all applied at the age of 4 leaves, by banding the CoteN close to the plants roots, has not caused any decrease in the yield. This represents a marked saving in both N fertilizer and application costs, as well as conforming with legal environmental constraints
