plant nutrients - magnesium and calcium, with nitrogen and iron.
Haifa Mag Cal plus Fe is ideal for Nutrigation™ and foliar in all growth environments. It
ensures availability of the nutrients even when used with hard water and in alkalyne soils.
Containing 100% pure plant nutrients, Haifa Mag Cal plus Fe meets the requirements of
soilless systems.

Synergy for better uptake
Both the calcium and the magnesium product are in the form of nitrate that facilitates their uptake and also enriches the nutritional value for the
plant.
Stable Iron
Haifa Mag Cal plus Fe contains iron in the form of HBED chelate, which is stable at a wide range of pH – up to 11. This ensures maximum availability
of the iron under all growth conditions, and excludes any interference with the uptake of calcium and magnesium.
100% soluble
With extreme solubility of 2.2 kg/l it is ideal for application by Nutrigation and foliar sprays in both soil and soilless growth environments. .

Calcium is a “quality nutrient” that enhances yield quality and prolongs shelf life. As the mobility of calcium in the plant is limited, it has to be supplied throughout the growth season to keep adequate levels in the plant tissues and to ensure proper development. 

Calcium in the plant
Calcium is essential for the building of cell walls. Poor calcium supply interferes with this important function, resulting in distorted growth and deformation of root tips, young leaves, and shoot tips. In addition weaker cells are more susceptible to biotic attacks. Calcium is also involved in enzymatic reactions and in the coordination of inter-cellular processes.

Calcium deficiency
Calcium deficiency is usually shown as localized rot of tissues, and a consequent growth inhibition. Typical symptoms include leaf deformation, leaf tip burn and root tip burn. Calcium deficiency also reduces quality of the harvest, and shortens shelf life.
