Uses

  • Brine additive for seafood processing, especially for fish and prawn treatment prior to freezing, fish fillets and cold seas shrimps.
  • High effective and solubility in ice cold brines.
  • Reduce drip loss, flavor and texture deterioration.
  • Stabilizes color, taste and appearance.
  • Prevents nutritional loss during shelf life and microbial growth.

  • EEC classification: E 450, E 451.
  • Appearance: Free flowing white granular powder

Screen analysis:

  • On 18 US mesh (> 1.0 mm) 0.5% max
  • Trough 200 US mesh (<0.075 mm) 10% max

 

  • Shelf life: 24 months in original package, under dry and cool storage conditions.
  • Maximum stack height: 2 pallets. 

Recommended dosage

  • optimum will be reached with 1.0 to 8.0% (100-800g/10L) F 701 in brine.
