During the 2024 growing season, a field observation in the Netherlands put HaifaStim™ KIR to the test on celeriac crops, and the results were easy to see.
This innovative formula, made with chitosan, ortho-silicic acid, and key micronutrients, is designed to boost plant health and resilience. But how well does it actually work in the field?
To find out, two plots were monitored between August 1 and October 31, 2024 – one treated with HaifaStim™ KIR, and one without. Both followed the same fertilization program and crop protection plan, using copper oxychloride and other products on a rotating basis. In the treated plot, HaifaStim™ KIR was added to the copper oxychloride sprays, applied every two weeks for a total of four foliar treatments.
What happened?
The treated plants were noticeably stronger and healthier. They developed better and looked more vigorous than those in the control plot, and the difference was visible at a glance.
HaifaStim™ KIR showed clear potential as a powerful ally for boosting crop performance in the field.
