The 2025 edition of Haifa Helping Hands brought together Haifa subsidiaries across Europe with one shared mission: improving local communities and the environment through hands-on volunteer work. Teams planted trees, renovated gardens, and educated children about sustainability, living Haifa’s core values of Compassion, Impact, and Partnership.
Together, these initiatives created a measurable and lasting impact across the continent.

Haifa France: Tree planting & environmental education
Donations from partners: 8 plane trees, additional hazelnut trees, one ancient olive tree; materials by Ziegler; tools from the municipality
In Domessargues, Haifa France collaborated with municipal partners and logistics provider Ziegler for an impactful planting day. Besides planting trees along a public walking and sports area, the team hosted an educational session for children, explaining tree health and growth supported by Multicote and HaifaStim HumiK 21.

Haifa Iberia: Reforesting burned landscapes in Madrid
Trees planted: 160 (Juniperus oxycedrus, Populus alba, Populus nigra, Fraxinus spp.)
Haifa Iberia focused on restoring a fire-affected area, working in small groups to plant 160 trees. The day started with a joint online meeting connecting all European teams before moving into a full morning of fieldwork.

Haifa North West Europe: Renovating gardens for Severinus residents
Donations from partners: 400 plants from 9 growers; 1 pallet substrate from Jiffy
The Haifa NWE team refreshed the gardens of Severinus, an organization supporting people with disabilities. The team cleaned, replanted, and redesigned various garden areas, creating colorful and accessible spaces for residents.

Haifa South East Europe: Planting with schools and municipality in Greece
Donations from partners: 80 Morus alba platanifolia trees; soil, tools, fertilizers, materials
In partnership with the Municipality of Propontida and local schools, Haifa SEE planted 80 trees across schoolyards and a park. The activity paired environmental action with student education, creating a dual impact.
